It was established in the USA in January 2021 and started production as of October 2022. HDM Steel Pipe owns 50% of the shareholding of the partnership, and the US-based JD Fields & Company, Inc. (JD Fields) owns the 50%.
The aim of the partnership is to be involved in projects in the USA where only local companies are allowed to bid (Buy American & Buy America).
Buy American is a law that requires federal government agencies to purchase products worth more than USD 10,000, and that the relevant products must be manufactured in the USA, while Buy America is a law that requires the purchase of products manufactured in the USA in transportation infrastructure projects carried out in the USA for railways and highways.
The headquarter of the company is in Houston, Texas and operates in the Americas with numerous sales offices and warehouses. Its sales offices are spread over a wide geography covering the entire Americas.
